Indian Rationalist Association

The Indian Rationalist Association is a private organization in India with 100,000 members. The organization is committed to science and Skeptical Thinking. It publishes books and magazines and organizes seminars. On television and in print media it takes about superstition and pseudo-science position.

The Indian Rationalist Association was founded in 1949 in Chennai. Founding president was Raghunath Purushottam Paranjpye. The current President is Sanal Edamaruku. The Indian Rationalist Association has branches in different states of India, the headquarters is in New Delhi.
