Indiana Ice Miners

The Indiana Ice Miners were an American ice hockey team from Indiana, Pennsylvania. The team played in the 2007/ 08 season in the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League.

History

The team was founded in 2007 as a franchise of the inaugural Mid-Atlantic Hockey League. In her only season the Ice Miners, coached by former ECHL goalie Brian Gratz, the first place of MEAL occupied after the regular season. The season was ended prematurely due to financial problems of the management of the League and waives the playoffs. The sovereign at this time, with 31 victories in just a single defeat league leaders Indiana Ice Miners was finally declared the champion of the GRIND.
