Mon Valley Thunder
The Mon Valley Thunder were an American ice hockey team from Rostraver Township, Pennsylvania. The team played in the 2007/ 08 season in the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League.
History
The team was founded in 2007 as a franchise of the inaugural Mid-Atlantic Hockey League. In her only season the Thunder finished fourth the GRIND after the regular season. The season was ended prematurely due to financial problems of the management of the League and waives the playoffs. Later attempts to continue the League failed, causing the Mon Valley Thunder were finally dissolved.
