Indra Sahdan Daud

Indra Sahdan bin Daud (born 5 March 1979) is a Singaporean footballer who currently plays for Home United and is a member of the Singapore national football team.

Career

Association

Bin Daud started his career at Geylang United. In 2001 he moved to Home United. In 2003, he was the first player from Singapore, who scored more than 100 goals in the S-League. In the same year he extended his contract with Home United and is therefore considered the best paid players in the league.

In 2003 he participated in an agreement between Chelsea and Emirates often in the training of the "Blues " in London.

In 2008 he achieved - however handicapped by injuries - this season ten goals. After the ASEAN Football Championship 2008, his contract ran out at Home United and he moved to league rivals Sengkang Punggol. Bin Daud scored eleven goals during his time at Sengkang Punggol in 22 games.

In 2010 he moved to FC Singapore Armed Forces. After two seasons, he returned to Home United.

National

He made his international debut on 26 April 1997 against Kuwait. He has been the resignation of top scorer Fandi Ahmad is the most reliable striker and the fans a very popular player.

With the national team he won the ASEAN Football Championship in 1998, 2004 and 2007.

In the ASEAN Football Championship 1998, he scored the decisive 1-0 goal that Singapore secured the win against Vietnam and thus the title. This was the first time that Singapore Southeast Asia champion.

2001, when Manchester United played his Asia tour, Bin Daud was the scorer in the 1:8 defeat to Manchester. In 2001 he was by his good hit rate in the South East Asia Games scorer. In the ASEAN Football Championship in 2000 and 2002, he scored no Goals.

Bin Daud's most spectacular game was in 2004 in the qualification for the World Cup 2006. During the 1-2 defeat against Japan, he scored through a remarkable hit the meantime it 1-1.

In May 2006, he suffered during the match against Malaysia a serious knee injury and was sidelined the rest of the year. His comeback he celebrated in December 2006 at the King 's Cup against Thailand.

As was the former national team captain Aide Iskandar for a messy incident for the friendly match against the United Arab Emirates blocked, Bin Daud took over the captaincy for this game. It ended in a 1-1 draw. After Iskandar announced his retirement from the national team before the match against Tajikistan, Bin Daud was the new captain. He has held this position until today.

He has played 110 games and scored 27 goals.
