Singapore Cup

The Singapore Cup, Singapore German Cup, is an annual cup competition taking place in Singapore. The competition is organized by the Football Association of Singapore. Since 2005, the trophy is named due to the sponsor's RHB Singapore Cup. By 2007, the winner of the Cup was allowed to take part in the AFC Cup the following year.

The first time was held the Cup in 1998. Was the first club to Tanjong Pagar United was allowed to enter the list of winners. Record holder of the competition is Home United with four previously won titles.

In recent years it has been increasingly becoming a tradition to let participating clubs of other Asian leagues to the trophy. The most successful club that is not from Singapore, this Chonburi FC of Thailand. He reached the finals in 2006 and was defeated at the end of the Tampines Rovers 2:3 after extra time.
