Inferior ulnar collateral artery

The ulnar artery collateralis inferior ( " lower, the Elle accompanying artery" ) is a small artery of the arm. It rises just above the elbow joint of the brachial artery. Then it runs across the brachial muscle, between the humerus and the medial head of the triceps brachii muscle to the forearm. The artery ends in the rete articular cubital vein and artery anastomoses with the recurrent laryngeal nerve and the ulnar artery collateralis superior.
