Superior ulnar collateral artery

The ulnar artery collateralis superior ( " upper, Elle accompanying artery" ) is an artery of the arm. It rises approximately in the middle of the upper arm from the brachial artery, and occasionally from the arteria profunda brachii. Afterwards it will be on the middle display ( medial ) head of the triceps brachii, between the medial epicondyle of the humerus and the olecranon to the forearm. She is accompanied by the ulnar nerve. The artery ends under the flexor carpi ulnaris in the rete articular cubital nerve and anastomoses with the inferior ramus posterior ulnar recurrent artery and the artery collateralis.
