Inferno Ridge

Inferno Ridge is a narrow, 8 nautical miles ( 15 km ) long mountain ridge in the West Antarctic Heritage Range. with a height of over 1000 meters. It rises between the Schneider glacier in the west and the Rennell Glacier in the north, south is the Larson Valley in the north of Inferno Ridge, near the point at which unite the tailor and Rennell Glacier, is the Orheim Point.

Was named Inferno Ridge of the Geological Expedition of the University of Minnesota the years 1963/64, which explored this area because the area is very dissected and consists of black rock.
