The Inflexible class was built in the years 1777-1782 class of four battleships of the British Royal Navy. The ships of the class were armed with 64 cannons and classified as warships third rank.

The Inflexible class consisted of the following ships:

  • HMS Inflexible: Launched on March 7, 1780 1820 scrapped.
  • HMS Africa: Launched on April 11, 1781 1814 scrapped.
  • HMS Sceptre: Launched on June 8, 1781 on November 5, 1799 stranded, 349 deaths.
  • HMS Dictator: Launched on January 6, 1783 1817 scrapped.
