Infruset is the sixth studio album by the Swedish band Mando Diao, produced by Björn Olsson, and the first album in their native language Swedish.

In 2011, Gustaf Norén was asked to mark the 100th anniversary of the death of the Swedish poet Gustaf Fröding set to music one of his works. Frödings poetry tells stories of the beauty of nature, of love and life's challenges. The beauty and honesty of his poetry as well as his eccentric and self-destructive lifestyle impressed the whole band, and so was an entire album consisting of ten poems set to music.

Björn Gustaf Norén Dixgård and chose ten poems from the extensive work of the poet; the recording of the songs found in an old barn instead of in the solitude that has been converted to a studio. After only a few days, the recordings were done.

The songs are slow and melancholic ballads, a totally different kind of music than they 're used by the Swedish rock band. Used acoustic guitars and piano as the main instruments; Bass, percussion and strings provide a quiet, gentle accompaniment. In the foreground are the voices of the two singers, which highlight and emphasize the melancholy mood of the lyrics.

Linnéa Dixgård, the sister of Björn Dixgård and singer of the Swedish group "Twin Flower Band", the song " Titania " sings.

On 28 October 2012, the first public performance of the album took place in the form of a live broadcast of a documentary and biography film " Infruset " in cinemas and theaters in Sweden, Germany and Switzerland. The premiere was in two parts - a cinematic biography of the poet Fröding and the live performance of the album.

" Infruset " in Sweden was an immediate success; within the first week after the release of the album reached the top spot in the Swedish charts and gold status in sales. It is also the first album to debut in the Norwegian charts.
