Ingegerd of Norway

IngeGerd of Norway, mostly Scandinavian IngeGerd Harald Datter ( Haraldsdottir ) ( † 1120 ) was by marriage Queen of Denmark and Queen of Sweden.

Life

IngeGerd was a daughter of the Norwegian king Harald III. (1015-1066) and Elizabeth of Kiev, daughter of Grand Prince Yaroslav the Wise. Her aunt was the French Queen Anna of Kiev.

In his first marriage IngeGerd was married to the Danish King Olaf I. ( 1058-1095 ). After her husband had died under mysterious circumstances, she went back to Norway. With the Swedish King Philip I († 1118), she entered another marriage.
