Ingegerd Troedsson

IngeGerd Troedsson ( born June 5, 1929 in Vaxholm, Stockholms län, † 3rd November 2012 in Grillby, Uppsala län) was a Swedish politician of the Moderate samlingspartiet and from 1991 to 1994 President of the Reichstag.

Life

IngeGerd Troedsson studied post-school political science and graduated with a master's from.

In the Reichstag elections on September 19, 1976, she was first elected as a candidate of the samlingspartiet Moderata a member of the Reichstag and was this after five re- elections until 3 October 1994.

Between 1976 and 1978 she was Vice Minister of Social Affairs with responsibility for health in the government of Prime Minister Thorbjorn Fälldin. Later it was from 1979 to 1991 1st Vice -President of the Reichstag and last between October 1988 and September 1991, deputy member of the Social Committee.

Between September 30, 1991 to October 3, 1994, she was finally himself President of the Reichstag, and thus the first President of the Parliament since 1971, which was not a member of Sveriges socialdemokratiska arbetareparti.
