The Inglis River is a river in the north-west of the Australian state of Tasmania.
Geography
River
The river rises about 3 km south-west of the settlement Oonah at the Murchison Highway ( A10), about 3 km north of Hellyer Gorge. From there, it flows first north to the east of the settlement Moorleah and then turns its course to the west. In Wynyard it flows into Bass Strait. The town of Wynyard is located on the south bank of the river, while on the north bank extends the golf course of Wynyard.
