Institute of Antoniano

The Antoniano dei Frati Minori from Bologna ( Italy) is an institution of global solidarity, popular culture and social communication regardless of nationality, religion, gender, language and race is dedicated to. Was founded the institution in 1953 by the Franciscan Friars Minor Padre Gabriele Adani, Padre Ernesto Caroli, Padre Benedetto Dalmastri and Padre Berardo Rossi.

The original Infact were the soup kitchen, the Accademia d' Arte Drammatica ( Academy of Dramatic Art ), and the movie theater. Since the 60s, the work is also through TV and music productions such as the internationally renowned Zecchino d' Oro, which is organized by the Antoniano, produces, and with its established in 1963, Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano, a world-renowned Italian children's choir, supported.

The activities today

On 20 September 2006, the Antoniano has been recognized both for its charitable activities as well as its health and social care as a " charitable non -profit-making " ( Italian " ONLUS " [ Organizzazione non lucrativa di utilità sociale ] ).

The work of the nonprofit organization Antoniano - ONLUS mainly consists of the following Infact:

  • The soup kitchen and the Centro d' Ascolto - for socially disadvantaged people
  • Il Fiore della Solidarietà (The Flower of solidarity ) - Worldwide, solidarity and support, among other things the terms of the erection of hospitals, schools, etc. in no time
  • Antoniano Insieme - Rehabilitation Centre for Children

The current director is Padre Alessandro Caspoli.
