Institute of High Energy Physics

The Institute of High Energy Physics ( IHEP ) in Beijing is the largest center for basic research in the field of high energy physics in the People's Republic of China. It is associated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The main research areas at the IHEP are particle physics, accelerator physics and technologies, radiation technologies and applications of radioactive rays. Is headed by the Institute of Wang Yifang and five assistant directors.
