Intaglio (burial mound)

Intaglio is a technical language term for hill grave works with embossed into the landscape pictorial representation.

Intaglio is a native of the Italian language term for Reliefieren, carving, engraving and sculpturing. It comes from the arts, applied originally for woodwork and precious stones. Applied to the archeology refers to figurative grave mound or troughs that are historically proven for various Indian cultures of North America.

One example is the immediate south of Fort Atkinson in the U.S. state of Wisconsin located Native American burial mound in the shape of a big cat. He is far and wide, because he was to make a tourist attraction touristic - economically usable only remaining intact.
