IDEN was developed by Motorola, proprietary technology to expand a TDMA mobile network with additional services, such as Push-to- Talk over Cellular ( PoC) or text messages.
It is used in the United States and Central and South America from the NEXTEL mobile operators, as well as in the countries listed below.
