Interconnector

Interconnector is a natural gas pipeline link between Great Britain and the European continent. Operator is the company Interconnector Ltd. UK.

This natural gas pipeline runs between Bacton on the British coast and Zeebrugge in Belgium. Since October 1998, in operation so that a connection between the British gas transport system and the continental European management system was created for the first time. The delivered via the Interconnector gas is traded on the Zeebrugge hub.

The Interconnector has a length of 235 km and a diameter of about 100 cm. Up to 20 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year can be transported through this pipeline.
