Interexpress

Inter Express, IEx abbreviated, is a former international train category. The trains ran from 1986 to 1991 as an international fast trains between the GDR, Poland, Czechoslovakia and Hungary.

History

Inter Express is the short form of International Express or equivalent expressions in other languages ​​. The mid-1980s decided the German Reichsbahn and the orbits of Poland ( PKP), Czechoslovakia ( ČSD ) and Hungary ( MÁV ) the introduction of this type of train for the high-quality passenger trains between these states. 1986 some express trains were converted into IEx trains.
