Intermezzo II is the second EP by the Norwegian metal band Satyricon. She appeared in 1999 and is dedicated to the late 1997 Bård Owe Haberland, who " lived like a devil and an angel died ," according to the dedication (a reference to Venom Live Like an Angel ( Die Like a Devil) ).
Formation
Nemesis Divina was taken in January 1996 in Waterfall Studios mitdem engineer Kai Robøle for the eponymous album, the remaining pieces in January 1999; A Moment of Clarity and INRI were in the Ambience Studios ( sound engineer: Mike Hartung ) recorded, Blessed from Below ( Melancholy / Oppression / Longing ) in the Thorns Facilities by SW Krupp ( Thorns ) and Satyr. Mastering is the EP by Espen Berg and Satyr.

Style of music and texts
Wolf -Rüdiger Mühlmann from Rock Hard described Satyricon's approach on the EP as " uncompromising, coarse and unrefined ", without the bombast of earlier publications and more relevant to their roots in raw Black Metal: " Razor-sharp, sawing riffs, blast beat drumming (, Inri ' - a cover version of Sarcofargo ) and bloodcurdling shriek "and" dirty rock'n'roll elements " in a Moment of Clarity [ sic]. Blessed from Below ( Melancholy / Oppression / Longing ), the mixed black metal influences with electronic music, he compared with Thorns.
Reception
