International Bar-B-Q Festival

The International Bar -BQ Festival is a barbecue contest, which takes place annually in Owensboro, Kentucky. With up to 85,000 spectators, it is one of the largest competitions of its kind since 1979, finds it place on the second weekend in May.

The main competition will take place in the categories of beef, pork, chicken and turkey. Other disciplines are eg the Burgoo cooking. The Framework Programme is a fair, beauty pageants, a basketball and a golf tournament, held a car show and others.
