International Guitar Competition & Festival Berlin

The International Guitar Competition & Festival Berlin is a competition for classical guitarists from around the world. It takes place in Berlin since 2006 every 2 years. The artistic director is the composer and guitarist Dang Ngoc Long.

The participants must not be older than 32 years old. In addition to self-selected music tracks the participants must be able to play certain compulsory pieces by heart.

To date, participated in the competition over 100 participants from different countries participated, such as from Germany, Brazil, England, Poland, New Zealand, Ukraine, Israel, Belarus, Russia, France, Bulgaria, Belgium, Republic of China, Spain, Thailand, Chile, Slovenia, South Korea, Ireland, Japan, Vietnam and Austria.
