International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation

The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation ( ILCOR ) was founded in 1992 is a composite of various institutions and professional associations that deal scientifically with the cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

It 's mission is to sift the state of international resuscitation science and new knowledge, they look through critical and propose a consensus on treatment recommendations from it; the organizations involved make this consensus on the basis of their guidelines for resuscitation. ILCOR published this consensus for the first time in 2000, currently are the ILCOR Consensus or the ERC guidelines of 2010.

At present, the ILCOR, the American Heart Association (AHA ), the European Resuscitation Council (ERC ), the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada ( HSFC ), the Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation (ARC ), the Resuscitation Councils of Southern Africa ( RCSA ), Resuscitation Council of Asia (RCA) and the Inter- American Heart Foundation ( IAHF ) involved.
