International School of New Media

The International School of New Media ( ISNM ) in Lübeck was a private training institution. She was housed in a renovated warehouse building on the Wallhalbinsel harbor museum right on the banks of the historic Old Town of Lübeck Travelodge. Among the sponsors were the merchants of Lübeck, the Parcham'sche Foundation and the Possehl -Stiftung.

History

The ISNM was established in 2001 and offered, among others, an English-speaking postgraduate course at that led to the internationally recognized qualification of Master of Science ( M.Sc.) in Digital Media.

The goal was to qualify graduates from various disciplines in full-and part -time courses to executives for the digital media industry. The ISNM was as an institute of the Medical University of Lübeck (MUL ) designed, which was a particular concern of the founding member Michael Herczeg, Director of the Institute for Multimedia and Interactive Systems at the MUL. Hubertus von Amelunxen acted as a founding officer. In 2008, she was by its own account in the restructuring. In 2011 she ceased its activities but finally back on and was disbanded in late 2012 completely.
