Gestuno continues as a shortcut from Gesture (English gesture, gesture ) and UNO (United Nations Organization) together.

Gestuno (also known as International Sign, International Sign Language or International Sign Talk) is a part of the name that has given the World Federation of the Deaf language, apply the deaf people in international meetings, and beyond the title of a book with a collection of about 1500 signs vocabulary that have been compiled by the Commission for the Standardization of the Sign Language of the World Federation of the Deaf.
