International Society for Ecological Economics

The International Society for Ecological Economics ( ISEE ) is an international scientific association for the promotion of ecological economics. It was founded in 1989 and publishes the monthly journal Ecological Economics.

In chronological order, the post of President by Robert Costanza, Dick Norgaard, John Proops, Charles Perrings, Joan Martinez Alier -, Peter May and John Gowdy was occupied. Herman Daly was awarded a prize of Right Livelihood Award for the expansion of economics to aspects of ecology and ethics as well as co-founding the ISEE.

Conferences organized by the ISEE published every two years. In 2010 she was under the leadership of Bernd Siebenhüner entitled " Advancing Sustainability in a Time of Crises " at the Universities of Oldenburg and Bremen.
