International Strategic Studies Association

The International Strategic Studies Association (ISSA ) is an important think tank that advises world governments on issues of foreign and security policy.

The ISSA was founded in 1982 and is headquartered in Alexandria in the U.S. state of Virginia. It is aimed regularly conferences in which leading scientists from around the world participate. The non-governmental organization (NGO ) is considered conservative. Her work focuses on forming the Middle East, the Caucasus, Turkey, Libya, Pakistan, Cyprus and the Balkans.

The International Strategic Studies Association is also editor of the prestigious Journal of Defense & Foreign Affairs.
