Internet Research Steering Group

The Internet Research Steering Group ( IRSG ) advises the Director of the Internet Research Task Force ( IRTF ) and thus controls the long-term technological development of the Internet. Members of the IRSG are the head of the IRTF, the heads of the various research groups of the IRTF and other people from the relevant research areas.

The task of the IRSG is to create good conditions for research.

In addition to the consultative work the IRSG organized from time to time workshops with experts of the topics areas.
