InterNetNews

Internet News (abbreviated INN) is an open-source news server which was written by Rich Salz in 1991. He is since 1996 provided by the Internet Systems Consortium ( ISC) and mainly developed by Russ Allbery. He is under the ISC license.

It can be used on all known Unix systems and is able to exchange messages directly via NNTP with other news servers and is now regarded as a reference implementation.
