Interspinal ligament

The interspinous ligament ( "Between spinous Band" ) is one of the short spine ligaments. It spans between the respective adjacent spinous processes of the vertebrae, and extends from the base to the tip. At the tip of the spinous process, it is related to the ligament supraspinal in connection flavum at the base of the ligament. In the cervical spine, the ligaments interspinalia are formed only small, they are the strongest in the lumbar spine.
