Intraco I

Intraco I is a skyscraper in Warsaw. The building that was built in the 1970s on the edge of the downtown district, was the first of a few Warsaw office towers that were built before the turn of Poland in the capital. A little later a second office building in the city center, Intraco II was born (now called Oxford Tower ).

History

The Swedish architecture and construction BPA Byggproduction AB built the high-rise in the years from 1973 to 1975. Investor was the Polish Intraco SA, who is the owner of the object until today. The building was the second modern skyscraper in Warsaw - the beginning of the 1970s the former Hotel Forum had been built in a very similar form. In Intraco I, at that time the most modern office building in Warsaw, many representative offices of foreign companies moved into their offices. Officially then gave the object the term skyscraper of Foreign Trade Centre (also: administration building for foreign technology and commercial companies).

The elegant in its simplicity tower is located in the north of the city, Ulica Stawki 2 He belongs to the beginning here Żoliborz district. After the turn

In 1999 it came to a complete renovation of the curtain wall. Originally assembled 483,000 blue-green ceramic plates were faded and increasingly corrupted. With several prospective buyers negotiations began: JW Construction, Bergold Holding, Dantex, Griffin Topco and a consortium of Wogorbi Finance and radius project. J. W. Construction carried out a due diligence examination and was traded as a likely buyer. End of 2010, however, the company withdrew from the purchase intentions. As no agreement could be reached with the other prospective buyers, brought the Treasury the Intraco SA which was incorporated on 25 March 2011 PHN Polski Holding Nieruchomości SA one. This holding company owned by the state seeks an IPO. Sales of Intraco SA to the next Intraco I heard another smaller office system, in 2009 was 25.2 million zloty (at a profit of 4 million zloty ).
