Vermilion Parish

Intracoastal City is a port city in Vermilion Parish in Louisiana, 21 km south of Abbeville. It is located on the west bank of the Vermilion River near the canal, Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and is run by the shipping from the Gulf of Mexico.

The city's harbor is, inter alia, and equipment for the fish processing industry, pumping stations, oil tanks and dry docks equipped with helipads.
