The Inuvik Mike Zubko Airport ( IATA: YEV; ICAO: CYEV ) is located 12.9 km east of the town of Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada.

This airport can only be approached by the so-called general aviation, and even with aircraft that transport more than 15 passengers.

The Inuvik Mike Zubko Airport is operated by the Canadian Forces as a base for McDonnell Douglas CF-18 Hornet.

Currently Inuvik is served by a scheduled flight operation, which is carried out by Canadian North and First Air. Canadian North operates aircraft of Boeing 737-200 and Boeing 737-300, during the First Air has only Boeing 737-200 in operation.

  • On 4 November 2010 a fire destroyed three aircraft in a hangar of Kenn Borek Air / Air Aklak These aircraft were the de Havilland Canada DHC- 6 Twin Otter ( registration C - GZVH ), a Beechcraft King Air (C- GHOC ) and a Beechcraft 99 (C- CCCTB).
