INVAP

INVAP SE (Spanish Investigaciones Aplicadas Sociedad del Estado, translated State Society for Applied Research) is a state-owned Argentine high-technology company based in San Carlos de Bariloche. It is part of the province of Río Negro and the other part of the Argentine federal government, which it controlled by the National Atomernergiekommission ( CNEA ), and was founded in 1976.

With headquarters in San Carlos de Bariloche, the company offices in Buenos Aires, Sydney ( Australia) and Cairo ( Egypt) as well as subsidiaries in Brazil ( INVAP do Brasil, São Paulo) and the USA ( Black River Technology Inc., Valparaiso, Indiana) has. In addition, part of the company's Argentine subsidiary INVAP Ingeniería SA ( IISA ) which also has its headquarters in Bariloche.

Divisions

INVAPs best-known division is the nuclear technology and the construction of the part can be used commercially (eg, raw material manufacturing of microelectronic components) research reactors, the company exports worldwide. Also a commercial reactor called Carem was developed, whose construction has not yet been realized.
