Iota Horologii b

Iota Horologii b is an extrasolar planet orbiting the yellow dwarf Iota Horologii every 302.8 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was from Martin Kürster et al. discovered in 1999.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 0.93 astronomical units and has a mass of about 661.2 Earth masses and 2.08 Jupiter masses.
