Isaac Colonia

Isaack Colonia, actually Isaack Adamsz. Colonia, (c. 1611/12 in Rotterdam, † March 27, 1663 in Rotterdam) was a Dutch painter.

Isaack Colonia was a son of the painter Adam Louisz. Colonia and the Baetris Dircksdr. van Beyeren. He was probably trained by his father. Later he trained his son also active as a painter Adam Colonia. About his life is very little known today. It is possible to him only a few works prove, but he seems to have both still lifes and landscapes as well as portraits painted.
