Isaac Pitman
Isaac Pitman ( born January 4, 1813 in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, † January 22, 1897 in Bath ) worked in 1837 its own shorthand of, in which he analyzed the English language according to the phonetic point of view, and named it therefore phonetics ( phonography ). He shared his shorthand in a school font ( style learners ) for beginners and a speech writing ( CORRESPONDING style / reporting style) for advanced one.
