Isabel Montero de la Cámara

Isabel Montero de la Cámara ( born 1942 in San José ) is a diplomat from Costa Rica. Her parents were Francisco Montero and Joyce Madrigal de la Camara. She married Martin Wolff and later after the divorce Manfred Meissner.

Isabel Montero studied philosophy at the Universidad de Costa Rica and Dramatic Arts in Paris. She began her work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 18 June 1974 and was appointed on April 9, 1996 Ambassador.

Montero was ambassador to France, Germany and in the central state chancellery. From 1998 to 2005 she practiced her diplomatic activities in Switzerland and also acted in Liechtenstein with. From 2005 to 2007 she was the Director of Culture in the State in Costa Rica and kept his status as ambassador to Liechtenstein. In 2007 she was Ambassador of Costa Rica in Russia. She got out of Germany the Order of Civil Merit.

She also worked as an actress and won the award for National Theatre in Costa Rica.
