Isabella Jagiellonica (Polish Izabela Jagiellonka; * January 18, 1519 in Krakow, † September 15, 1559 in Alba Iulia ) was a Polish-Lithuanian princess of the noble family of the Jagiellonian. She was from 1539 by marriage Queen of Hungary.

Life

Isabella was the daughter of the Polish king Sigismund I of Poland from his marriage with Bona Sforza. She married in 1539 the Hungarian King John Zápolya. On July 8, 1540 gave birth to a son, John Sigismund Zápolya.
