Isabelle Breitman
Zabou Breitman (* October 30, 1959 in Paris as Isabelle Breitman ) is a French actress and director.
Life
Zabou Breitman is the daughter of actor and screenwriter Jean -Claude Deret ( Claude Breitman ) and actress Céline Léger. After the Baccalauréat, she studied Greek and English and attended the parallel Cours Simon in Paris. Since 1981 she has worked as an actress in movies and TV films and in the theater. She is divorced and has two children.
Awards and nominations
In 1986 she was nominated for a César Award for Most Promising Actress in the film Billy Ze Kick, 1993 for the César for Best Supporting Actress in the movie " The Crisis " (La Crise ). Nominated she was for the Theatre Prize Molière for Best Actress in 1992 for " Cuisine et dépendances " 1998 " Skylight " and 2009 for " Des gens".
She played a leading role in " Un monde presque paisible ", which was shown in 2002 at the International Film Festival in Venice and in " L' Exercice de l' Etat ", see the about 2011 at the International Film Festival of Cannes in the Un Certain Regard had. Her film "The Man of My Life" in which she directed, was shown at the 2006 Festival du Film Français d' Helvétie.
In 2001 she directed her first: her film Claire - Remember the good things (Se souvenir des belles choses ) in 2003 was awarded three César awards, including the prize for the best first film and received an award at the Festival du film de Sarlat. In 2004 she was for " l' Hiver sous la table " won the Molière Theatre Award for Best Director.
