The Ishigaki Airport (Jap.石 垣 空港, Ishigaki - Kuko ) is a small commercial airport of the city of Ishigaki on Ishigaki -jima in Japan, Okinawa Prefecture. The airport is located about 2 kilometers east from the city center Ishigaki. From here, there are currently (2009) in addition to domestic routes also irregular charter flights to Taipei. The Ishigaki airport is considered by the Japanese legislation as third class airport.

With 1.8 million annual passengers handled the Ishigaki Airport is the largest airport passenger 3rd class in Japan, and the traffic is continuously increasing further as the Yaeyama Islands are a very popular tourist destination. Because of only 1500 m long, and because coupled enclosure not extendable runway only aircraft can launch up to the size of the Airbus A320 and land. To meet the future increasing demand for transport capacity justice, currently the International Airport New Ishigaki is built on the east coast of the island.
