Islandstorget metro station

Islandstorget is an aboveground station Stockholm subway. It is located in Södra Ängby district. The station is served by the Gröna linjen the Stockholm subway system. It belongs to the rather moderate frequented stations of the metro network. On a normal working day 3,000 commuters to climb here.

The station was taken on October 26, 1952, in operation, when the metro section Hötorget Vällingby was inaugurated. The platforms are located above ground in high position. The station is located between the stations Ängbyplan and Blackeberg.
