ISO 31

ISO 31 ( Quantities and units, Eng. Quantities and Units ) was an international standard by the International Organization for Standardization ( ISO). She has been withdrawn and replaced by ISO 80000. She was next to the DIN 1319 one of the basic standards of metrology. Was regulated Physical quantities, units of measurement and their notation, notation of numbers, formulas and symbols as well as a coherent unit systems ( in particular, the SI units).

Most parts of the succession are standard in Germany as DIN EN ISO 80000 -x in a version by August 2013.
