Isochoric process
Isochorically is a term of thermodynamics. It describes a change of state of a gas, wherein the volume in the system remains constant.
According to the law of Amontons (also 2nd law of Gay- Lussac ) or the equation of state of an ideal gas is true then also at constant number of particles:
It also follows that the relative change in the pressure of the relative change of the temperature corresponds to:
- P1: Absolute pressure in bar in front of the heat supply
- P2: Absolute pressure in bar after heat supply
- T1: temperature before the heat
- T2: Temperature after heat supply
The equation of state of an ideal gas is not worked ( no change in volume! ), According to the first law of thermodynamics () comes with a supplied power directly into the internal energy.
