The Minore (Italian for " Small Island" until the 19th century also Isoletta " islets ") is the smallest of the three islands in Lake Trasimeno. It is located about 1.5 km south-west from Passignano sul Trasimeno to the municipality it belongs, and 500 meters east of the larger island of Isola Maggiore.

The five -acre island is densely forested, mostly with oak and pine trees. It is home to a breeding colony of cormorants.

The island was inhabited until the 14th century permanently, but was then abandoned by the inhabitants because of frequent robberies. Then she offered only occasionally hermits refuge. Today it is privately owned and is uninhabited.
