The variable sea cucumber ( Isostichopus badionotus ), also called three-tier sea cucumber, sea cucumber is one of the Caribbean and the tropical western Atlantic from Bermuda, and South Carolina to the coast of Brazil. She lives alone in shallow water on sandy or rubble bottoms near coral reefs and seagrass beds, from the low water line to a depth of 20 meters. Features

The variable sea cucumber is 45 to 50 inches long. Their color is very variable, the basic color is usually brown or yellowish. These contrast the most different color, black or bright yellow, warts on the back. There are copies with bright color and dark warts and vice versa. Monochrome animals are rare. At the bottom it has three rows of dark tube feet. The middle row is wider and bisected by a seam. Variable sea cucumbers feed on organic particles, they absorb from the soil.

She has no Cuvier hoses. In the intestine of sea cucumber guts sometimes live fish.
