István Sztáni

István Sztani [ iʃtva ː n stɒni ] ( born March 19, 1937) is a former Hungarian football player and coach.

Sztani came in 1957 to Eintracht Frankfurt. With the harmony of inside forward won the 1959 German Championship. In the two years at Eintracht he came up with 36 league games in which he scored 20 goals. He also came to 5 inserts in the DFB Cup in which he scored 4 goals and 7 inserts in the final of the German Championship 1959 ( 7 goals). In the same year he moved to Standard Liege in Belgium, where he remained until 1965 and then moved back to Frankfurt. By 1968, he graduated in three seasons 21 Bundesliga games for Eintracht, in which he scored only 3 goals. in the season 1966/67 he played for Eintracht in the Intertoto round in which he scored a goal in eight stakes. In the 1968/69 season he played for TuS Maccabi Frankfurt. He then moved back to Belgium, where he was active as a player-coach for the AA Gent and 1973 as a player and from 1969 to 1971. In the 1973/74 season he was player-coach of the RRC Tournaisien.

In the season 1974/75 Sztani took over as coach at the 1 FC Schweinfurt 05 and peaked in the 2nd Bundesliga Süd third place. Nevertheless, he left Schweinfurt. In the 1975/76 season was Sztani coach at VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga 2 South, but was released already on 31 March 1976, when the targeted promotion to the 1st League had become virtually unattainable. In the 1976/77 season he coached from 20 October 1976 in the 2nd League South FK Pirmasens and in the season 1978/79 until May 15, 1978 FC Bayern Hof. From 1 July 1979 to 28 November 1979, he coached in the 2nd League North SV Arminia Hannover. His last coach Engagement in the professional sector was dated 27 March 1980 to the end of the 1979/80 season at Würzburg FV 04

Between January and October 1999, he was youth coach of Eintracht.

Sztani is a member of the Board of Directors in SG Rot - Weiss Frankfurt 01 He also trained on behalf of Rot-Weiss Frankfurt football team Praunheimer and upper wheels sheltered workshops.
