Ivan Mihailov (boxer)

Ivan Mikhailov ( born December 25, 1945 in Sliven ) is a former Bulgarian boxer.

Mikhailov won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1967. In the 1968 Olympics he reached to Siegen about Jan Wada, Poland ( 4:1), Nils Dag Stroemme, Norway (5-0 ), and Seyfi Tatar, Turkey ( 5:0 ), the semi-finals, which he against Albert Robinson, United States ( 4-1 ), lost and thus won an Olympic bronze medal.

After another bronze medal at the European Championships in 1969 and the unsuccessful participation in the Olympic Games in 1972 Mikhailov ended his career.
