Ivan Trojan

Ivan Trojan (* June 30, 1964 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech actor.

Biography

Ivan Trojan is the son of actor Ladislav Trojan and younger brother of filmmaker Ondřej Trojan. He is since 1992 to actress Klára Pollertová - Trojanová, with whom he has four sons joint, married. In his youth he played basketball and originally wanted to study sport. Instead, he studied acting at the Theater Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He completed his military service yet from 1989, before he could establish himself as an actor in theater and film.

Overall, Trojan was nominated seven times for the Czech film prize Český lev, where he was awarded twice each as Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. He is so far the only actor to have managed this in a year. In 2003 he was tě for Best Actor for brat and as Best Supporting Actor for Musim svést excellent.
