Iván Velasco

Iván Velasco Murillo ( born February 7, 1980 in Arrasate, Gipuzkoa ) is a Spanish cyclist.

He began his career in 2006 with the second-rate Spanish pro team Orbea. In the 2007 season he moved to the Basque team Euskaltel -Euskadi, the Pro Tour participates in the UCI.

Velasco Euskaltel -Euskadi was a member of the banns, the Giro d'Italia 2007., He finished the three- week race at the 76th place. In the following years he still took a total of two times the Giro d' Italia and once each at the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España in part. His best result was the 51st rank in the Vuelta a España in 2008.

2010 Velasco had a good spring, when he was 16 at the Tour of Catalonia and the 18th in the Tour Down Under and the Basque Country Tour. In 2012, he was ninth overall in the Vuelta a Castilla y León.
